KIEV, April 11 – The International Monetary Fund has worsened its forecast for the deficit of Ukraine's balance of payments in 2011 to 3.6% of GDP, and retained its evaluation of growth of the GDP in 2011 at 4.5%.
According to the World Economic Outlook published by the IMF on Monday, the deficit will grow to 3.8% of GDP in 2012, and it will drop to 2.9% of GDP in 2016.
In last year's WEO in October the IMF estimated the deficit of Ukraine's balance of payments in 2010 at 1.3% of GDP.
