KIEV, April 11 - The second Ukrainian astronaut will go on a space mission no earlier than 2014, Ukrainian State Space Agency head Yuriy Alekseyev told reporters in Kiev on Monday.
"All the crews are formed in the period until 2013. So our astronaut may go on a space mission no earlier than in 2014 unless the presidents make an additional arrangement," he said.
The possibility to include the Ukrainian astronaut in an earlier crew is being discussed. In this case, Russia will share its space flight quota with Ukraine, he said.
