SINGAPORE, March 29 – The growth of Ukraine's gross domestic product in 2011 could be among the best on the continent, Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych told businessmen in Singapore.

"We expect, as experts say, that this year Ukraine will have one of the best figures of gross domestic product growth on the continent," he said at a Singaporean-Ukrainian business forum in Singapore on Tuesday.

Yanukovych cited data showing that GDP grew by about 6% in January 2011.
