SINGAPORE, March 29 - President Viktor Yanukovych has called on Singaporean businessmen to invest in Crimea.

Speaking at a Singaporean-Ukrainian business forum in Singapore on Tuesday, he said that the Autonomous Republic of Crimea was one of the most investment attractive regions in Ukraine.

"The Autonomous Republic of Crimea is one of the most investment attractive regions in Ukraine due to the favorable economic and geographical location of the peninsula, the presence of various natural resources, significant resort and industrial potential, a well-developed transport infrastructure and the possibility of easy access to all markets in Ukraine, the CIS countries, as well as Europe and Asia," Yanukovych said.
