KIEV, March 28 – Participants in the Automobile March of Protest motor rally in Kiev on Friday called for the carrying out of "people's reforms."

The Co-Chairperson of the Council of Entrepreneurs and head of the parliamentary committee for industrial and policies and entrepreneurship Natalia Korolevska said at the meeting that the motor rally was a second signal for the government.

"The first signal was in the autumn of the previous year on Maidan Nezalezhnosti [Independence Square]. There we were promised that the interests of the people would be taken into account. But in response we got economic repression, the elimination of small business, a rise in the incomes of the richest and the impoverishment of the majority of the population of Ukraine. The main demand of the Maidan, which was 'the carrying out of people's reforms', has not been fulfilled. We are again making demands of the government via today's car rally. And if the people are not heard again this time, we will build a large automobile Shield of Freedom from Lviv to Luhansk," Korolevska said.
