KIEV, March 28 – State commercial companies facing competition from the private sector should be allowed to use the practice of procurement for operations in the private sector, experts of the European Union and the World Bank have said.
"The best international practice confirms the reasonability of clear division of state companies into those of commercial origin and those serving public needs," read comments by the experts to amendments to the law on state procurement (No. 7532) adopted at first reading Parliament.
