KIEV, March 24 - The National Energy Regulatory Commission has issued a license for electricity generation to the first wind farm in Ukraine equipped with modern 2.5 MW wind turbines to Novoazovsky wind farm (Donetsk region).

Novoazovsky wind farm's director, Oleksandr Pruhornytsky, said that currently the first stage of the farm with a capacity of 25 MW has been launched.

He said the wind farm plans to sell up to 75 million kWh of electricity per year to the wholesale market.
