MOSCOW, March 22 - The board of directors at Russian gas giant OJSC Gazprom has taken under advisement reports about the state of Russian-Ukrainian relations in the gas industry and the prospects for cooperation with Russia's neighbor, a company press release says.

It was noted at the meeting that Ukraine is a strategic partner for Gazprom, as roughly 70% of the Russian gas bound for Europe (94.6 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2010) transits the country.
