MOSCOW, March 21 – Russia's VEB Capital and VTB Capital are to organize the attraction of a financing package worth $300 million for infrastructure projects in Kiev, an advisor of VEB Capital's director general for the CIS, Andrei Krasnopoyas, said at a CIS forum.
"Jointly with VBT, we're attracting a large sum of $300 million from the market to develop infrastructure projects in Kiev," he said.
Krasnopoyas added that the investment subsidiary of Vnesheconombank is also taking part in a project on the construction of an automobile tunnel under the Dnipro River. He said that the realization of the project would help ease congestion in the traffic network in Kiev.
