DONETSK, Aug. 16 - METRO Group, Germany's largest retailer, on Tuesday opened a major store in Donetsk, expanding its fast-growing chain to Ukraine's wealthy eastern regions, the company said.

The 100-million-hryvnia store is METRO's seventh outlet. Its first store was opened in Kiev two years ago.
