KIEV, March 4 – The Ukrainian government plans to stop the duty-free importing of petroleum products to Ukraine to improve the country's investment attractiveness and prevent losses to the national budget, according to a draft memorandum by the Ukrainian authorities to the International Monetary Fund, which was drawn up for the second review of the Stand-By Arrangement.
According to the document, which was published in the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. Ukraine (Mirror Weekly) newspaper, the government also plans to liberalize the grain market in line with the requirements of the World Trade Organization.
