KIEV, March 1 – Ukraine plans to put two heat generating companies and five or six electricity supply companies up for sale in 2011, according to Energy and Coal Industry Minister Yuriy Boyko.

"I think that this year a pilot project on the privatization of five or six companies on the distribution market and two companies on the generation market will be realized," he said on Tuesday during the Ukrainian energy forum organized by the Adam Smith Institute.
