KIEV, Feb. 25 – Over half of Ukrainians disapprove of the activities of Viktor Yanukovych during his first year of his presidency, according to a new poll.
The nationwide phone survey was conducted by Kiev-based Gorshenin Institute of Management Issues on February 14-23.
According to the results of the poll, some 50.8% of the respondents negatively assessed the activity of Viktor Yanukovych as Ukrainian president, 35.5% said they considered it positive, and 13.7% failed to answer. At the same time, some 46.1% of those polled said their attitude towards Yanukovych had worsened over the first year of his presidency, 26.1% said it became better, and 27.8% failed to answer.
