KIEV, Aug. 15 - In August-November the Cabinet of Ministers is planning to decide whether to apply to international financial organizations to borrow a total of $397 million and ?26 million.

The Aug. 10 government resolution on the results of social and economic development of Ukraine in H1 and the objectives for H2 provides that the Labor and Social Policy Ministry, the Economy Ministry, the Finance Ministry, the Foreign Affairs Ministry and the Justice Ministry of Ukraine shall prepare in August the draft resolution on justification for borrowing from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the project on reform of social security system in Ukraine. They were instructed to hold talks with the IBRD on a $99.4 million loan (the loan is planned to be paid back from the state budget).
