No Ukrainian laws punish corruption, opposition government claims
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Feb. 18 – The opposition government has stated that in Ukraine at present there is no legislation that foresees responsibility for corrupt activities.

"At present there is not a single legislative act in Ukraine that would punish such disgraceful acts as corruption, and bring persons who are guilty of it to account," the head of the shadow government and MP of the BYT-Batkivschyna faction, Serhiy Sobolev, said at a meeting of the opposition government on Thursday.
