KIEV, Feb. 17 – Ukraine's State Property Fund expects it will sign an agreement with ESU LLC, a subsidiary of EPIC, a Vienna-based investment house, on the sale of 92.79% of telecoms giant Ukrtelecom by February 25, according to SPF Chairman Oleksandr Riabchenko.
"I think the agreement will be signed not later than February 25," he said at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada's ad hoc supervisory panel on privatization in Kiev on Thursday.
In his words, the SPF secured verbal confirmation from the buyer which is ready to pay for the stocks at the price set at UAH 10.575 billion as a result of an additional assessment.
According to Riabchenko, the said sum of money is to be transferred by ESU LLC within 70 days.
