KIEV, Feb. 16 – The price of imported natural gas for Ukraine in the second quarter of 2011 will grow by 6.1%, to $280 per thousand cubic meters, according to Yevhen Bakulin, the chairman of Naftogaz Ukrayiny.
"We'll have $280 per thousand cubic meters in the second quarter," he told the press in Kiev on Wednesday.
He said that the calculation has been made. He said that Ukraine has a [50%] discount on the prices of gas in dollars that the country obtained in line with agreements reached in Kharkiv in April 2010.
