KIEV, Feb. 16 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny handed over 3.471 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas to Swiss-based gas trader RosUkrEnergo in January 2011 in line with a ruling by the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, a government source told Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the source, the natural gas stocks in the Ukrainian underground storage facilities as of the end of January 2011 were about 18.4 bcm.

As was reported, 0.784 bcm of natural gas was pumped from the Ukrainian underground storage facilities in December 2010 to return to RosUkrEnergo.
