KIEV, Feb. 16 – U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that the United States will continue to remain a reliable friend and partner of Ukraine, and interested in its success.

The information policy department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Hryschenko said at a meeting with Clinton, which was dedicated to the course of systemic reforms in Ukraine launched by President Viktor Yanukovych and the development of democratic institutions, that Ukraine's leadership appreciates U.S. support for the establishment of Ukraine as an independent, democratic and European state with a market economy.
