IVANO-FRANKIVSK, Feb. 10 – Kalush City Council (Ivano-Frankivsk) region has asked the state-run National Center for Hazardous Waste Management Enterprise to take measures to ensure the safety of the storage of hexachlorobenzene in the city.
"How will the issue of disposing of this toxic chemical be resolved? This is an issue that requires additional study. During this time we should take measures to ensure the safe storage of hexachlorobenzene," reads a letter to the director of National Center for Hazardous Waste Management, Andriy Liubymov, the text of which was approved at an extraordinary session of Kalush City Council on Tuesday.
