KIEV, Feb. 8 - The Antimonopoly Committee said it is satisfied with the steps domestic mobile communications operators took to reduce roaming tariffs.
"In general, the AMC is pleased with the result of work [of mobile communications operators to reduce tariffs]. The AMC understands that the issue of forming roaming tariffs is complicated because it concerns relations between the operators and roaming partners outside the country. This important market will continue to be closely monitored by the AMC," the AMC told Interfax-Ukraine.
As reported, the AMC in late September 2010 recommended that domestic mobile communications operators reduce their international roaming tariffs to an economically grounded level.
