KIEV, Feb. 7 – Former Ukrainian Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn has said he will participate in the parliamentary elections in 2012 if he is asked to.
"With respect to the elections in 2012, it is difficult for me to make plans - we have to wait and see. If I receive an offer, of course, I will participate in the parliamentary elections," he said in an interview with the Hazeta Po-Kyivsky newspaper published on Monday.
Danylyshyn also noted that since he has been granted political asylum in the Czech Republic, he has often communicated with former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko: "We discuss the political situation in Ukraine, a new draft Constitution," he said.
