KIEV, Feb. 4 – The former head of the State Committee of Ukraine for the State Material Reserve, Mykhailo Pozhyvanov, has said that he may seek political asylum in the West if he is put on the wanted list by Interpol.

Pozhyvanov, who is currently abroad, said in an interview with the Ukrainska Pravda online newspaper that "if such a question arises and there's no other way, of course, I will seek political asylum. Today I don't want to return to a country where there is no real justice."
