KIEV, Feb. 3 – The Economic Development and Trade Ministry has proposed to cancel corn exports licensing and quotas that were to be in effect until March 31, 2011.

A draft cabinet resolution on this has been posted on the ministry's Web site.

According to an explanatory note to the draft, taking into account the 11.9 million tons of corn harvested by Ukraine in 2010 and ending stocks from the 2009 harvest, the supply of corn on the market this marketing year is 12.6 million tons.
