KIEV, Feb. 3 - The National Bank of Ukraine and the banking associations of Ukraine are working on draft amendments to the current legislation, which could foresee the introduction of a ban on the early withdrawal of fixed-period deposits, according to a posting on the NBU's Web site.

According to the posting, the NBU will accept proposals on this initiative until February 20, 2011.
