KIEV, Feb. 1 – Emergencies Minister Viktor Baloha has said that Ukraine's Emergencies Ministry and the Interior Ministry may merge after the optimization of the structure of the Emergencies Ministry.

"We want to form a system for reacting to emergencies following the best European examples. As soon as the work is done, unification with another ministry performing tasks inside the country, the Interior Ministry for instance, would be quite possible," he told the Delo newspaper.
