KIEV, Feb. 2 - The government will seek to postpone indefinitely a 50% hike in prices of natural gas supplied households, Deputy Prime Minister Andriy Kliuyev said Wednesday.
The price hike, originally planned for April, is one of the key demands from the International Monetary Fund and is part of the energy sector reform.
“We believe that there is no need to hike gas prices by so much in April or in May,” Kliuyev said after a government meeting.
