KIEV, Feb. 2 – The risks of investing in Ukraine have considerably grown due to the actions of authorities in the taxation area and worsening corruption, according to Natalia Korolevska, head of the parliamentary committee for industrial and regulatory policy and entrepreneurship.
Korolevska said that investment is still highly risky in Ukraine, as investors were not waiting until the promised reforms start.
"The results are on hand: the key investment in Ukraine is coming from Cyprus. This means that we have pseudo-investment and flows of capital from domestic financial and industrial groups. This is evidence of the fact that the business climate in Ukraine is not favorable for the inflow of foreign and domestic investment," she said.
