DAVOS, Jan. 28 - Ukraine is a leading country in Eastern Europe in terms of democratic development, according to President Viktor Yanukovych.

"We have recently felt such a friendly attitude to Ukraine from European countries, and there are more positions uniting us, including the issues of the country's democratic development," he said, while answering questions from participants in a Ukrainian lunch organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation in Davos, Switzerland on Friday.
