KIEV, Jan. 28 – Fuel supplies to Ukraine could fall by 50% in 2011 if duties on fuel imports are introduced, said Ihor Maistrenko, the head of Lithuania’s Orlen Lietuva (former Mazeikiu nafta) group's representative office in Ukraine.
He said that some of the imports would be retained thanks to the high quality of fuel and the good image of reliable suppliers.
Maistrenko said that last year the company supplied 630,000 tonnes of fuel to Ukraine, including 450,000 tonnes of petrol.
