KIEV, Jan. 27 – The Central District Court of Simferopol has ordered Anatoliy Hrytsenko, a former speaker of the Crimean parliament and a deputy of the current Crimean Supreme Council from the Regions Party, to be taken into custody.
The court satisfied a respective petition of the prosecutor's office, ordering Hrytsenko into custody for two months.
"The court arrested Hrytsenko for two months, without taking into account the request of deputies to release him on bail," said MP and Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Mustafa Jemilev, who attended the court session.
