Ukraine must speed up reforms to qualify for next IMF installment
Journal Staff Report

KIEV, Jan. 27 – Ukraine hasn’t yet implemented all agreed reforms to qualify for the next installment of lending from the International Monetary Fund, Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Tyhypko said.

The comment comes days before an IMF team is to begin its assessment of the reforms. The Washington-based lender is to decide by March 15 whether to disburse the next tranche to Ukraine.
