KIEV, Jan. 27 – Any decision to introduce duties on imported fuel could be challenged in line with the procedures of the World Trade Organization (WTO),
Ukraine has been studying whether to introduce the duties.

"If the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine decides to introduce duties and WTO procedures were infringed, any WTO member could send an inquiry to the organization asking it to hold consultations and later create a body to resolve disputes, so the application of the duty would be checked for its correspondence to WTO rules," Oleh Malsky, a partner of AstapovLawyers law firm, said.
