DONETSK, Jan. 25 – The explosions in Makiyivka are in no way related to the checks conducted by the Chief Audit Department of Ukraine at the state-run enterprise Makiivuhillia, first deputy head of Donetsk Regional Administration Serhiy Derhunov said.

"You've heard the statement by Khoroshkovsky [Security Service of Ukraine Chief Valeriy Khoroshkovsky] that this is an ordinary criminal case. It has nothing to do with Makiivuhillia," he said at a press conference in Donetsk .
