KIEV, Jan. 17 – Ukrtransnafta and Belarusian Oil Company have signed an agreement on the guaranteed annual transit of four million tons of oil through the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline to Mozyr oil refinery (Belarus) for two years, with the possibility of prolongation.
Ukrtransnafta Chairman Oleksandr Lazorko and Belarusian Oil Company Deputy Director General Andrey Shishkov signed the agreement.
Deputy Energy and Coal Industry Minister of Ukraine Ihor Kiriushin told journalists that currently Ukraine is in talks with the Belarusian Oil Company on the possibility of pumping four million tons of oil annually through the Odessa-Brody oil pipeline for the needs of Drohobych oil refinery (Halychyna, Lviv region) and Nadvirna oil refinery (Naftokhimik Prykarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk region).
