KIEV, Jan. 14 – President Viktor Yanukovych will pay an official visit to Japan on January 18-21, reads a posting on the official Web site of the head of state, with reference to Presidential Administration Head Serhiy Liovochkin.
"The visit will promote the further development and strengthening of a bilateral political dialog at the highest level, broadening scientific, cultural, humanitarian, trade and economic cooperation, in particular, through the attraction of the credit, financial, investment and technological possibilities of Japan, to ensure the modernization of the Ukrainian economy and the development of the economic, social and transport infrastructure of Ukraine," reads the posting.
