KIEV, Jan. 14 - Ukraine boosted ferrous metal exports not including pipes 42% in 2010 to $14.606 billion, the Industrial Policy Ministry announced.
Metal product imports rose 71.5% to $1.914 billion.
Pipe exports edged down from $1.399 billion in 2009 to $1.352 billion in 2010, although revenue from welded pipe exports fell to $589.2 million from $908.6 million, while revenue from seamless pipe exports grew from $490.1 million to $589.2 million. Pipe imports grew from $78.2 million to $111.1 million.
