KIEV, Jan. 10 – None of the 40 checkpoints located on the Ukrainian-Russian state border in Kharkiv and Sumy regions are currently meeting modern requirements with respect to border and customs controls, and communications.

This is stipulated in a report issued by the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine following an audit of the effectiveness of the use of state budget funds allocated in 2008 through the first half of 2010, the chamber reported on Monday.
