KIEV, Jan. 5 – There is a rather high likelihood of the resumption of the obligatory sale of currency income by exporters in 2011, Serhiy Arbuzov,the governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

"The decision of the National Security and Defense Council, a presidential decree and a plan on the organization of the realization of the decree approved by the cabinet foresee drawing up a draft law for submission to Parliament on empowering the NBU with the right to temporarily introduce the obligatory sale of a part of the currency income of entities engaged in foreign economic activities," he said.
