KIEV, Dec. 29 – The possible introduction of duties on fuel imports is not in line with Ukraine's liabilities to the World Trade Organization and violates principles of fair competition, a diplomat in Kiev said.

Kestutis Masalskis, Commercial Attache of Lithuanian Embassy in Ukraine, commenting the initiative of the Ukrainian Fuel and Energy Ministry and Ukrainian oil refineries, said that the Lithuanian Romanian and Polish embassies have sent a joint address to Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov.
