KIEV, Dec. 28 – The grain export quotas initially imposed by the Ukrainian government in early October for the period until December 31, 2010, have been prolonged until March 31, 2011, and the quotas were increased by 1.5 million tons, to 4.2 million tons.
Cabinet resolution No. 1182 of December 6, 2010 was posted on the cabinet's Web site on Tuesday.
According to the resolution, the corn export quota was increased from two million tons to three million tons and that for wheat from 500,000 tons to one million tons.
