KIEV, Dec. 15 – The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund has put an issue of the first review under the stand-by arrangement with Ukraine on the agenda of its meeting on December.
According to the IMF's Web site, this day the Executive Board will also consider the consultations with India and the sixth review under the stand-by-arrangement with Serbia.
The IMF in late July 2010 agreed to resume lending cooperation with Ukraine under a new stand-by program worth SDR 10 billion. Kiev has already received the first tranche of SDR 1.25 billion and expects to receive a second one of SDR 1 billion (about $ 1.6 billion) by the end of this year.
