KIEV, Dec. 13 – Dniproavia, which is under control of Ihor Kolomoisky, is ready to buy a 61.58% state-owned stake in CJSC Ukraine International Airlines for $65 million, and has asked the State Property Fund of Ukraine to organize an open auction for the sale of the stake.
"We're ready to pay UAH 516.841 million [$65 million] for the stake, and believe that this is a fair price, which is confirmed by famous independent experts and assessors. We know that some other Ukrainian and foreign companies are interested in the purchase of the stake," reads a letter from Dniproavia Board Chairman Serhiy Tkachenko to SPF head Oleksandr Riabchenko.
