KIEV, Dec. 13 – President Viktor Yanukovych has issued a decree under which the Defense Ministry is to create a new wording of Ukraine's military doctrine.

In particular, the president ordered the Cabinet of Ministers within a month after the adoption of the new military doctrine of Ukraine and in line with the established order to submit drafts of a strategic military bulletin of Ukraine and a comprehensive state program for the reform and development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 2011-2015.

In addition, Yanukovych ordered the cabinet to foresee in a draft law on the national budget of Ukraine for 2011 expenditures to ensure the financing of Ukraine’s Armed Forces at the level needed to maintain the defense capacity of the state.
