KIEV, Aug. 5 ??“ The International Monetary Fund is ready to render support to Ukraine and the Ukrainian government on the reforms that have started in the country, IMF Managing Director Rodrigo de Rato said.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko following their meeting in Kiev Friday, de Rato emphasized that the IMF is ready to provide both consultative and other forms of assistance to the Ukrainian government on the current issues pertaining the development of the Ukrainian economy.
