KIEV, Dec. 6 – Kherson Regional Administration believes it necessary for an investor to be attracted against government guarantees to complete the renovation of CJSC Kherson oil refinery and put it into operation, reads a statement by Regional Governor Mykola Kostiak addressing Ukrainian Economy Minister Vasyl Tsushko.

The investment needed for the completion of the refinery's renovation is estimated at almost $800 million, reads the statement.

The regional administration also considers it appropriate that the state could get management of the enterprise as a co-owner.
