MOSCOW, Nov. 26 - Russia is ready to discuss any issue concerning gas supplies with its Ukrainian partners, Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko told journalists.

"We are expecting Viktor Fedorovych [Yanukovych] to raise the issue of gas cooperation. We understand why our Ukrainian colleagues are interested, given the gas share in their consumption, both in industry and for the population," Prikhodko said ahead of a high-level meeting of the Russian-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission to be held in Moscow on Friday.
