KIEV, Nov. 26 – The deficit of Ukraine's balance of payments in October came to $578 million, while in September its surplus was $1.241 billion, the National Bank of Ukraine said in a posting on its Web site.

According to the posting, the deficit of the current account in October grew to $907 million, up from $194 million in September 2010, while the surplus of the financial account fell to $329 million from $1.435 billion over the same period.
