KIEV, Nov. 23 – President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Moscow on Friday to attend the fourth meeting of the Ukrainian-Russian interstate commission, the presidential press service has reported.
"The interstate commission was set up in 2005. According to the commission's rules of procedures, meetings chaired by the presidents of both countries should be conducted twice a year, and since the beginning of this year the parties have come to the stable, systematic and constructive work of this body. The previous meeting of the commission was held in Kiev on May 17, 2010 during Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's official visit to Ukraine," reads the statement.
Liovochkin said that during the fourth meeting of the commission it is planned to discuss the development of bilateral relations in the political sector, the state of the implementation of promising projects in the sphere of high technology, as well as humanitarian interaction.
