KIEV, Nov. 19 – Parliament has increased oil, gas and gas condensate extraction royalties by 40%.

The requirement is stipulated in Article 258 of section 10 of the Tax Code approved at second reading.

The lawmakers decided to consider a larger increase in the royalties after additional discussion.

According to the article, the royalties for oil and gas condensate extracted no deeper than 5,000 meters was increased from UAH 1,529.90 per ton to UAH 2,141.86 per ton, and deeper – from UAH 566.10 per ton to UAH 792.54 per ton.
